Sig 226
Just throwing a question out there-is a Sig 226 Blackwater Tactical legal in any category of IDPA?

How does the Blackwater Tactical differ from a standard model P226?
If it has a steel frame, it will be too heavy for any division of IDPA. They have one variant with a great big mag well and thick magazine base pads, which is likely too big for The Box. I don't know if that is a Blackwater, though. If it is just cosmetics, come on down. |

Then yeah, that would be it then. What kind of 226 would you recommend for IDPA?

One with an aluminum frame. I was reading about an all-stainless 226 with light rail that weighs 46 ounces!!!!
