Puma 92 Action

Anyone used the spring kits from Lee's Gunsmithing, or any others to slick up a Puma 92? Would it still function ok with both 38 and 357 rounds. I have heard of problems feeding 357's after this is done. I just use mine for plinking and would like to tune it up a bit. I'm ok with the trigger, but it throws brass about 10 feet straight up and they rain back down on me!
