Saiga 308 Hi Capacity look

I live in the great Rebulik of New York. I want to have a Saiga .308 with the Hi Cap look. Can I buy a hi cap magazine(25rd) have it shipped to my house, the permantly modify the shell to only accept 10rds? or as soon as I slice open the package the State Troopers are gonna kick in my door and haul me away?

Most distributors will not even ship hi cap mags to areas where they are prohibited. It is probably a violation of some law to do so.

Woohoo! I just ordered a 20 rd body from FBMG Inc so that gets it into NY now I just need to somehow permenantly render it from 20rd to 10rd for legal purposes.
