Scholarly Analysis of the Heller Decision
Randy Barnett and Larry Sollum discuss Professor Nelson Lund's analysis of the majority decision in Heller at The Volokh Conspiracy.
The discussion is very academic and centers on what they define as the "interpretation" zone and the "constructionist" zone and what these concepts mean for future application of Heller in other decisions. It is a little bit on the scholarly, legal side; but a great concept to familiarize yourself with if you plan on arguing the relevance of Heller in overturning future unconstitutional restrictions on the Second Amendment. |
