C&R question
Hey guys, i was wondering if i would have to have a c& r license to own an m1 or any other firearm on the ATF c& r list.

Nope.
If you're legal to own firearms, you can own any C&R without needing the FFL. The one thing the FFL does (as far as federal law goes) is allow you to build a collection of curio and relic firearms through interstate commerce without the need for somebody else to be a regulatory middleman (a dealer to do a transfer). An 03 FFL (Curio & Relic) doesn't give permission to own a single thing (you already have that permission); it only facilitates the purchase and collection of said firearms. |

Just get one. $30 very well spent. You buy two C+R guns you save enough on transfer fees to pay for it.

Save money by getting a C+R? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Only if you would have bought the weapons anyway. Otherwise a C+R license can actually cause your Visa card to 'smoke'
