I put this originally in black powder but thought someone may have more info here. I was wandering where to get ammo live or blank but live would be cool

thanks

also any way to find out when it was made? it doesn't have the barrel modified for flares

could i still use flares??

Looking at that little single shot pinfire, it looks cute but I would balk at the cost of creating ammo for it myself, unless I could figure out a cheap way to do it. Probably Belgain or something, pinfire was not a big player in this country although the confederacy did import some pinfire revolvers to use, they were just getting ahold of anything they could lay hands on, overseas.

The referenced thread has about all the info available. Those little guns were really made as novelties, though they could be dangerous and are legally handguns, the same as a Model 29.

The ammo is, I believe, still available in Europe, but I have not seen any here in a long time.
