Franchi 48A

I just purchased a Franchi 48A today and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a owner's manual for it? It is a 12 Ga and appears in excellent condition--any comments on the quality of the 48A. I purchased it for upland game hunting, primarily pheasants. Thanks.

One of the best upland guns ever made.

Here is your manual: http://stevespages.com/pdf/franchi_48al.pdf

Franchi 48A

Thank you very much ebutler462--can't wait to try it out on the South Dakota pheasants next year.

Photos of one of my Franchi 48s:

Ain't it neat? I love my 48s. Wouldn't be without one.

That is about the prettiest gun that I've ever looked upon. American Arms, it is. Special build for them from Franchi in the early 90s. I've wanted one but the dinero wasn't available. American Arms over priced them and they didn't sell many. Stoeger kept the price respectable and sold umpteen thousand. Not quite as fancy but as reliable.

If you ever get tired of it, I'd like to make you an offer. Not many 5 lb upland guns with their reputation around.
