.45 muzzle velocity

I have a .45'' percussion kentucky pistol replica and was wondering what the muzzle velocity is on it shooting a .44'' diameter ball with a .10'' patch using 20 grains of ffg powder? i believe it has an 8'' barrel.

i dont have a chronograph and was just curious.

thanks,

My Guess

With real black powder, my guess 750 fps 30 grs. will give you 1,000

Here's some fairly close numbers from a spanish .45 with .440" balls and about two inches less barrel:
Load 127 Grain Ball Velocity Spread
24 Grains Goex FFFG 884 fps 19
24 Grains/Volume Pyrodex P 831 62
15 Grains/Volume Pyrodex P 677 70

and from a pedersoli LePage .433 " ball
Load Velocity Spread
30 Grains/Volume Pyrodex P 1060 fps 150
20 Grains/Volume Pyrodex P 949 fps 110
20 Grains Swiss fffg 1005 fps 62
20 Grains/Volume Goex fffg 868 fps 104
15 Grains /Volume H777 864 fps 98
