How in the heck do I get the magazine of a mossberg 500a apart to install a duck plug?

Cut a dowel the appropriate length and drop it in through the hole in the front of the mag tube. No need to disassemble the magazine assmebly.

Dummy me. I thought I needed a plug, so I went and got one. Then I end up cutting a piece off a plastic coat hanger and dropping it in the hole. $5 lesson learned.
