Grandaughters Wyoming Turkey

She's 12 and the Light of my life: One shot, 145 yards, using my Rem 700 223 Varment. Same rifle I carried as a sniper rifle before I retired. Using 55 grn mil. ball, quick kill with very little damage. She also cleaned and skinned it all by her self.

Congrats to the young hunter. Glad to see young ladies joining in the hunting endeavors.

Outstanding! Great to see young women joining the ranks of hunters! And it sounds like she's a great shot, too.

nice work. at first when i heard 145 yards i was like what!??? i was thinking of our NY rules and regs.... no rifles for turkeys. then i saw where you were from
