Slow Motion of Flintlock
This is a short video of my Flintlock pistol being fired. You can really see
just where the the action is. This is my 1st post of a link anywhere. Hope it works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mAdkjdXrYo |

A friend once video taped his flintlock directly from the side. You can see the hotspot of the touchhole through the cloud of priming powder smoke. There is a lot going on in the old rocklock.

Normal Speed
Here is the normal speed. When you shoot Flint pistol, you need it as fast
as you can get it. I use 7 FFF in the pan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pLwu9NiXmk |

Impressed
I was very much impressed with your hold and follow through, not the easiest thing to do with a FL pistol or rifle. I have not shot a FL pistol in over 25 years and your video started the memories to flowing. Post a shot target some time.
Congratulation again Clint

You Asked For It
OK, Since you asked, here is a target I shot a couple years ago down at the
shoot at Berryville Arkansas. I might add, the wife is a lot better shot than I. Oh. I was 63 when I shot this. |

Looks like a 98 2X, congratulation again. When I was shooting regular 30 years ago, the best I did was 99 w some X's, with a caplock, but that was another life time it seems.
