saiga ak-47 Magazines
I am trying to figure out what are the best and/or high quality magazines for a Krebs/Saiga ak-47. I did a search and didn't dig up to much information on quality mags for ak-47s.
Thanks |

For an un-modified Saiga, I've heard (never used them) good that's about the Surefire mags.
For a modified Saiga or AK, I prefer the Hungarian 20rd "tanker" mags but I've never had any problems with the East German or Tapco 30rd mags either.

Sorry, to clarify, I'm talking about converted saiga's. Like the KTR08, 103s etc.

Virtually any AK magazine is pretty good.
The AK magazine was so over-engineered, it's hard NOT to make them right. Some of the best are the East German steel and most Eastern European magazines. It really doesn't matter what you buy, unless it's really rusted or dented, they all seem to work fine. I'd just look for better condition, new to like new magazines. |
