Rem Model 700 Barrel

Will a model 700 rem barrel in same caliber fit on a rem model 7 action.

Should fit fine. Long action calibers won't work too well, though.

They are both 270 wsm. The model 7 is a 22 inch blued and the 700 is a 24 inch stainless. I put a 6mm-270 wsm pac-nor barrel on the 700 which left me with a extra ss barrel. An interesting tid-bit getting 3550 with 62 grains RL 25 and 107 grain sierra, 5/16 3 shot groups. This is being used as a deer sized long range rifle not a target rifle.

You still have to check the headspace. Bolt-action-barrel fit could be differant even on the same rifle, cal combo.

You swap the barrel, you need to have the head space checked.
