Firequest refuses to ship ammo to Illinois. This was Brown Bear 62 grain soft point, .223 ammo. The person I talked with said there were restrictions, but couldn't explain what they were. Total waste of time.

A lot of the ammo companies don't have a clue that it's perfectly legal to ship to Illinois, with only a very few exceptions. They're simply too lazy to verify that fact. Some, like Cabelas will gladly ship to Illinois as long as you fax a copy of your FOID to them before you order. That's why they get all of my ammo business.
