124 gr or 122 gr 7.62x39

which ones better for piercing?

Piercing what?

The design of the bullet makes more difference than the 2gr change in bullet weight.

I think that the 122 has a cooler shape hanging from your ear.

Assuming both the same bullet style, usually the heavier bullet is better for punching through things. But 2 grains isn't a heck of a lot of difference.
