Any new sub-$500 .22 target pistols?

Since it looks like the IZH 35M isn't going to be re-imported (please correct me if I'm wrong), the Ruger MKIII with a few Volquartsen upgrades (sear and grip) now looks like the best choice for budget bullseye.

However, possibly I'm mistaken and there are other (and better) alternatives without having to jump up to the $1000+ European .22 Sport Pistols (Pardini, Benelli, Morini, etc.).

Does the Walther SP22 fall into this price range?
