Remington rand 1911a1a 45 Question

I have a remington rand 1911a1a 45 acp. Good shooter but not pretty.
Serial no. Is c68573 stamped with what appears to be hand held punch type letters & numbers. Most of markings are 1911 type but nothing on the right side of slide and no lanyard loop on the butt

Thank hh

Okay, is there a question?

And since this is about a semi automatic pistol you should probably have done this in the "semi automatic" forum.

Serial no. Is c68573
That would be a Colt serial number. Colt commercial 1911 frame dating to 1916. Sounds like you have a mixmaster, Colt frame and Remington Rand Slide.
