Much discussion has centered on GWB's Supreme Court Appointments, but what about his Cabinet Appointments?

How about Ollie North for Secretary of Defense?

David H. Hackworth for Secretary of the Army?

Forget about Colin Powell. I look at him and I see a Socially Angry Person with an agenda.

Look for word to get out about a week before the election as to who may serve in a Dubya cabinet. I expect a leak regarding the Attorney General and SecDef. Depending upon the state of the mess in the middle east, look for word on SecState.

I would personally like to see Shippers or Klayman as Attorney General, Schwartzkopf as SecDef, and Powell as SecState. I know Powell has spoken ill of Dubya but I also know he is a soldier who is professionally adept at doing things he would prefer not do. And believe me, we have a major problem with our foreign affairs.

I'd love to see Alan Keyes in a Cabinet Position, any Cabinet Position.

How 'bout Keyes as Sec of HUD. Talk about a stick in the eye of the welfare state. I'd love to sell popcorn at that show.

Nosir, I think Alan should stay out of the relatively powerless cabinet positions. Dr. Keyes for Supreme Court!

If Bush said he was going to appoint Ollie North to any gov't position, it would obliterate any chance of my voting for him. Ollie is a criminal and a unrepetant liar.

Now on the other hand, Justice Alan Keyes has a nice ring to it. So does Klayman for AG and Walter Williams as Sec/HUD.

We can only hope.

Later,
Chris

Forget the cabinet. Can you imagine what would happen if he made either Walter Williams or Thomas Sowell press secretary? I would start watching C-SPAN non-stop to try to get to see the daily press briefing. I can just see the mass of early retirements from the Washington press so that they don't have to look like fools on a daily basis (not that there would ever be any film clips shown on the network news).

Thomas Sowell as press secty. Boy howdy! do I like that one. Thomas Sowell has NO, I repeat NO time or patience for idiots. Any evidence of an idiotic questions and Mr. Sowell will rip the offending "journalist" a bright, shiny new *ssh*le. Can you imagine the entertainment value of those press conferences. Can you imagine what he would do to the set up of some of the inane questions "journalists" ask. Can you imagine what he would do to those self-important *sses.

I love it!!! I love it!!!
