Field Clean a Taurus 24/7

Whats up everybody.
I just bought a Taurus PT 24/7 Pro C
I'm very happy with it and caught up on most of my research with it, but I have one problem.
I took my pistol out to the range, everything went great.
I could only afford to fire 31 rounds. When I get more time I'll have more rounds to get a better feel for it and have fun.

The deal is that I'm having trouble doing a Field Clean for the pistol. I only fired very few rounds so I don't necessarily need to take the whole thing apart. I read all the directions on how to disassemble it, but I just can't take off the barrel and spring to give it a good cleaning. LAME.

I have the kit and plenty of lube, any help or point in the right direction much appreciated.

long winded is an understatement. he took a 2 minute task and turned it into a 15 minute disertation.

That was great. It was the same breakdown just like my 24/7 Pro C 9MM. My fingers were hurting so bad all week from doing construction work, I needed a good show of how to do the breakdown.

Even after firining 33 rnds. my gun needed some cleaning, breaking it down like that allowed me to get a way better detail clean. I also live in Az. there's Lots of dirt being blown around so I'm sure just to be safe I'll clean it regularly, depending on how many times I take it out.
Thanx again.
