Puppy ****
I will try reposting here. Did not work very well under the general discussion forum. Somebody was offended.
We picked up our new German Shorthair Pointer. Which by the way is a GUN DOG and we intend to hunt with her as with our other 3 German Shorthair Pointer hunting dogs ![]() As the rule of this forum state it must fly, lope, or charge. This puppy does not have much lope in her but she does seem to fly at times, and just rattle the food bowl and she comes charging. ![]() Now I hope that this meets all of the criteria of The Hunt forum. That being said, here is our new pup. No name yet, but will accept any suggestions.

Beautiful dog. I love the ticking on the coat. I have hunted behind a similarly marked GSP and she needed an orange vest so we could see her.

Hogan's Hero
Great idea, but we are trying to get away from the theme. We have a GSP named Hogan, and we had an old GSP named Schultz. |

Hogan, I hope you read my reply "over dare" on the other thread....
No matter the name I love it when a dog fulfills the meaning of the name... My dog Deadly is one mean Gyp on a hog kinda dopey lookin' mug but catches like a freight train and wags that tail the whole time! I can't post a thread of my dogs cuz we don't use nor allow guns on the hunt... It is all mano y piggo But they do charge good!Brent |

Aaaaaawwwww! As far as a name - because her life is just going to get better and better (as a hunting dog) - Cinderella And because she looks like she has been playing (working) in the ashes of a fireplace - Cinder for short.

Ah I gotta get out of apartments I miss dogs! Have fun with 'em. Just stinks that utility has to vary inversely with cuteness in most animals, but it'll be a good time either way.

Skadi or Ull both are Germanic hunting gods.
A name with a long E sound is easier to yell. Beast, Freddy, Braggi. |

Every single one of them are beautiful. Thank you all.
So are my three; a stinking Bearded Collie (12 yo), a mellow Sheppard (20 mo), and an extremely hyper Boxer (3 yo). As were my previous various hounds (RIP). No pics because I'm too lazy to use an additional service to post them thru. |
