Any Info on AR-Stoner Magazines?

MidwayUSA has AR-Stoner mags on sale, described as follows:

"AR-15 Magazine with Magpul Follower

Hard-anodized aluminum magazine body with chrome silicon springs and gray Magpul follower. Dry-lube coated and heat treated for reliable feeding"

They have 20 round curved body mags and 30 round mags, on sale for $9.99 each.

I tried a search, and found nothing here about them. So, AR-15 experts, please let me know:

Are these good (reliable) AR-15 mags?

Have you used them before?

Which is better, the 20 or 30 round mags?

If the answer to either of the above is no, do you have an alternative suggestion for a reasonably priced AR 15 mag?

Thanks!

I have never used that particular one, but at that price and the fact that Midway is selling them, I would definately try some out . Midway Usa sells pretty much top quality merchandise.

Have 6 or 7 of them from the last sale , all run perfectly. Made by C Products I believe. I prefer the straight 20's to the curved ones but they work fine too from what I've heard. I'm trying to stock up on M1 mags right now or I'd buy more.

PMAG Ranger Plates are supposed to be out some time in March as well.

PMAG with a Ranger Plate will be about the perfect mag imo.

Stoner are some of the cheapest mags you can buy. Spend $4 more and get the Pmag and you will never use a metal mag again. Bravocompany has them for $14.20 each

I also bought some on the last sale. If my AR jams, it has one of them in it. The other mags I have (an assortment) work flawlessly. They are cheap though.

AR Stoner mags are made by C-Products. They are good stuff.

I have seven of them. I've had no problems what so ever. I might just have to pick up a few more.

I wouldn't count on that. Midway also sells Promag magazines which are certainly not top quality.

It depends on the Promag as well. For certain models they're okay....Can't understand HOW...but..

AR-Stoner magazines are the same as C-Products magazines....I know because I ordered C-Product magazines, it came in a C-products wrapper. Comparing side by side, they both had 5.56 stamped on the follower, and 5.56/.223 SS stamped on each side...

Half had C-Products LLC on the bottom, the other half had AR-Stoner.

Personally I like them, good magazines.

Nothing wrong with P-Mags either just....well...I like these. As long as they work I'm fine.

I'm also a big fan of P-mags. I'd personally stay away from Pro Mags.
