Crichton on Fear -- Very Long
It's a helluva read. About halfway in, he gets into environmental management, Yellowstone, elk, deer, predators.

A helluva read, indeed. And worth every last second it takes to read it.
Crichton has always been a favorite of mine, since Westworld when I was in junior high. He just keeps getting better. |

Awesome read. I was a fan of his fiction years back as well, where he certainly has an impressive register... but his speeches really put the fanciful works to shame.
