anyone tried expanding foam in a treestand?

Thinking of sealing holes in tube ends to keep out water and quiet it down. Does it sound like a good/bad idea?

Sounds good to me.
ATTT has foamed up his last year. Works great too.
Keeps out water, wind, and noise.

two types

I have seen two types. One will warp wood and aluminum when expanding and the other won't. be careful.

Yes, I have. Can't say how well it worked--maybe a little. WD40 and camo duct tape are my top 2 choices for treestand noise reducers, both applied in the summer!
