!851 Colt Navy & Case

Here is a pic. of my Colt Navy, that came to me without a box, or the accessories. I gathered up the accessories over a period of time and then built the case. I think that I have learned to post pictures in this forum. This is not a good picture, but I may upload a better one later. I edited the pic that I posted earlier of my 1860 Army, to a bigger size. Here goes with the pic. of the Navy.

Case Picture

Here is a picture of the outside of the case of the Colt Navy. I have never taken a pic. of the outside of the 1860 Army, which is in Ohio, and I am in Florida, for the winter. It is designed, and finished a lot fancier.

Can't Post

Hi, All:
I would like to post more pictures to this thread, but, something happened to my computer, and I can not upload pictures to any of the several host sites that pictures can be posted from. I have tried for about three days, and have given up. I am going to have to just enjoy the great pictures that all of you other folks post.
Someone asked what part of Florida that I live In. We are way out in the country, in southwest FL. about twenty five miles from ether Ft myers, Punta Gorda, or Arcadia. We live across the road from one side of the big Babcock ranch.
Keep posting those great photos.

Here is a Colt/Uberti Navy with a Slim Jim style holster made by a leather crafter in Ohio.

ASM Navy & Sholder Stock

Here is a ASM Navy revolver & Sholder Stock.
I would like to know more about this revolver & stock. The revolver, is .44 cal. has a brass engraved frame, the bbl. is engraved, the cyl. has a roll engraved naval scene. The fit & Finish on both the revolver & the sholder stock, is top notch. They are both in new unused condition. They came to me as a set, but altho the revolver has the pins to fit the stock, there is no cut out in the bottom of the grip strap. I have been told that they were made quite a few years ago, and I can't find out much about ASM. Does any one know anything about this pair?
Thanks.

A few of my C&Bs

First one is a pair of Uberti 1861 Navies with American Holly grips - my curent main match guns

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...ollygrips2.jpg

Second one is pair of 2nd Gen 1851 Navies with American Holly Grips and a custom San Pedro rig.

Third is Stainless Steel 2nd Generation Colt 1851 Navy with Colt accessories and case:

Fourth is Pietta 1860 Army Lawman model cased set from Cabelas in 1991. Also have a second one so I can use the pair for CAS matches.

All are shooters - except the SS 51 Navy. I do have a Uberti SS 51 Navy that is a shooter.

ASM used soft internal parts and quality/reliability was hit or miss. If you've got one that works well shoot it but you'll probably have to replace the internal parts sooner or later. I think Uberti parts can be made to fit.
