I'd like to know. They appear to be the same. Recoil spring around the magazine, inertia action, etc.

In October Gun Tests Magazine thumbs downed the I-12 but I didn't read the article. I have a Stoeger 2000 and it has been without fault. Side by side comparison with the Franchi, I can't tell them apart.

The Stoeger is made in Turkey and the Franchi is made in Italy. Other than that, I believe they are the same basic gun.

BTW, the new design of the Stoeger 2000 is a tremendous improvement over the old design.
