.40 S&W Club?

How many here own and enjoy the .40 S&W? I've got a Walther P99, and planning on getting an M&P in .40 as well. There might even be a Sub 2000 with my name on it in the future

Anyone else?

S&W 4053TSW, S&W 40F, GLOCK 22, GLOCK 24, XD-40 and maybe one or two more I can't think of right now.

Love the round...

My main semiauto is a Sig P229 in .40 S&W. I was a big fan of the 10mm round that begat the .40, but it was too much for my wrist. The .40 is a great compromise all the balistics and half the recoil.

Had a Ruger P944 and an XD40. Liked them both! Now have a Ruger KP944D and like it a lot. It's a pretty heavy gun and I just don't notice the recoil being any worse than my 9mm or .45s.

Baby Eagle in 40 and it is a favorite. It is usually my carry piece. I shoot the 135HPs and there is not much more recoil than a 9mm but it gets lots of meat damage.

M&P 40. Love it, love the round. Don't see the difference between 9mm, 40 and 45. All easy to control, all fun to shoot.

in 40 SW is a pretty good platform. 12+1, and it is close in ballisitics to the 357 mag - not a bad combo. It also shoots well. Takes a LITTLE bit more practice than the 9mm, but it can be shot nicely - and is a bit more fun, albeit more expensive.

40 sw

add to the kettle a s-w 410 40 and a astra a-100 .40, neither gun expensive, but plenty accurate for their intended use!

Count me in, XD-40 and Taurus Mil-Pro 40, both are great shooters. I bought the Mil-Pro for CCW, the XD is a house/range gun. I really enjoy shooting both of them.
