If it's unfired, shooting it will knock a couple of hundred off the value. If it's been fired, just take care and enjoy.

I think I see a little cylinder stop drag in the notches, so I assume it's been fired. Doesn't look too deep so it hasn't been shot very much. Now the important things; are you going to shoot it yourself, and how much lunch money did you spend?

Although this OMM .22 looks to have barely been fired, I think that I'll just keep it in it's current like new condition instead of firing it?
