Plated bullets for SAA Colt clones

In the next few weeks I'll be buying a .45 Colt clone (either a Uberti or Ruger) and am wondering if anyone has experienced any problems running plated bullets through them. I use plated bullets with the other calibers I load up (.38spl, .40sw, .45acp and 9mm) with good outcomes and when I get the .45LC would prefer them over lead. Does anyone here use plated in their .45LCs?
