How to find info on old shotguns??
Hello,
A friend of mine has a very old shotgun that he wants to sell. The shot gun is probably pre 1900's, it is owned by his father and was bought over 70 years ago. How would one go about finding out something about this gun? We have tied searching on the Internet from terms that are inscribed on the gun, but searching is proving futile. These are the terms that are inscribed:- Calibre 12 Caraptizada Papapolvova Sinhu 13 76308FN 12 2/1/2 Hope to hear back from someone |

I know I’m really sentimental but how could he sell a gun that’s been in his family for so long?
I have some very old guns that were my grandfathers and I’ll never part with them! I do know that the one .22 I have is worth about $350 – $500 but I plan on having my kids learn how to shoot on that gun just like I did and my mother did. |

I don't have much on shotguns and found nothing in what I do have. You might want to try a dedicated shotgun forum like: Shotgunworld.com
Maybe someone can help you there. Good Luck. Rod |
