Need Help - Lyman 358242 in 38 Spl
Need a little help if you would. My copy of the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook is missing a few pages. Need to find out if they show any load data for the 120gr #358242 cast bullet in 38 Spl with either Unique or W-231. For me this bullet is casting up right at 125gr using wheelweight. Should make for a right pleasant plinking round. Thanks in advance.

The Lyman Cast Bullet Manual third edition lists both.
For the Unique they start with 4.0 grains and go to the same max of 5.7 grains. For Winchester 231 they start at 3.4 grains to a max of 5.1 grains. They also show a load of 5.4 grains for a +P load with the 231. |
