224 ==> 308 Sabots

Anyone know where to get reasonably priced sabots for loading up rounds like Remington's old Accelerators? EABCO has them for $10/100, but I was looking for 1000 or so and would like to find something a little less expensive.

TIA,
Saands

Make sure you do not fire those in ANY weapon that has a muzzle brake or a flash hider. The sabot petals can catch in the openings and deflect the bullet making for a bad day at the range.

Yep ... I realize that (the good thing is that the manufacturers actually mention that pretty clearly) ... I'll also resist the tempation to run them over (or maybe "through" is a better word choice) my chrony

Don ... are they still in business? I called the number and it appeared to be a real estate business of some sort. Have you ordered from them recently?

Thanks so much ... this is EXACTLY the price I was looking for!

Save your money. The accuracy of Accelerators was poor.

I'm sorry, I have no idea whether they are still in business or not. Perhaps use the email address?

Try this company. I think they still have them and the seating and expanding dies as well. E. Arthur Brown (EABCO) http://www.eabco.com

Speaking of... I have two old boxes of of Remington .30-06 Accelerators in my ammo cabinet. Dad bought them when they were discontinued; he figured they might have some collector value some day. Are they worth anything? I don't own a .30-06, nor do I have any plans for one.
