Indiana Turkey
Got me a good bird thismorning. I was sitting in a blind with my wifes uncle and had 2 come in strutting. I got mine and he missed his. Weighed 22.75lbs, had 1.375" spurs and a 10.5" bird. My oldest bird so far.

Great bird.
Those are great spurs. What kind of gun is that?

Had some decoys out(Feather Flex), but the birds were below us, and I don't think they could see them. The gun is an H&R single shot 10 guage with a red dot scope, and I've got 3-D tape on it

10 gauge
I've got a 10 gauge and a red dot scope. I also put some cloth type camo tape on it. Too shiny as it was. I didn't get mine in time to pattern it. Plan to do that soon. What worked for you? Did you stick with the factory choke?

It came with a full or extra full choke on it, I can't remember. What kind of 10 gauge did you get bcarver. I know a Brent Carver here in Indianapolis, is there any relation there?
