Remington Model 712 .270

Does anybody know where I could find Info on this rifle?

I just inhearted this rifle. I have a model 700 but I have never heard of a model 712 and Can't find out anything on this one. I really just want to know how much it is worth, so I can get it insured.

Yes, it says model 721 on the side of the barrel.

Is it possiable its a 721, but the stamp # got turned around after a night of happy hour at the local tavern? I've been there!

YEP! I was wrong! Model 721 Trying to find out what year it was made and how much it is worth, so I can get it insured! It is in Very Good Condition!

gunbroker.com has about 4 or 5 listed, 400 or so up to 550 or so... has a buy now for 575 so thats a bit high probably...

Found out is was made in

JUNE 1948! By the Letters on the barrel.
