Mounting a red dot sight to a Mini 14

Looking at a Strikefire sight. It comes with a mount, but it mounts to a picatinny rail. How would I get this on a Mini 14?

You can mount the red dot on a B-Square see-under rail, and retain the use of your iron sights as well... http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=329123

The Scout Mount is also pretty cool... http://www.thecountryshed.com/mini-1...ail_mounts.htm

Ultimak, Weigand and Promag make rails for the Mini-14, but I know nothing about any of them.

Scout mount. That way your action isn't covered up by a mount.

Funny how one word can screw up an entire post, and make you look like an idiot. LOL

If you decide to try the rail, the Weigand is a great mount and happen to have one posted FS at the following:

Google Mini 14 Mounts

I know that Cheaper Than Dirt has picatinny rails specifically for the mini 14. Never used them, but everything I've order from CTD has been really good quality.

A buddy of mine when with the Ultimak mount for his Eotech. It has been rock solid for ~2000 rounds.
