my lil bench

Here's my lil space. My home made work bench. All my powder, primers, loaded ammo is stored in my built in locking cabinet under the table.

Seeing some of you guy's benches makes me a lil jealous, actually its not your benches, its all the powder/components you have that I've been looking for!!!!

My brother in law and I built my bench this weekend. Actually, my brother in law did most of the work and I helped out. I'm not all that good with woodworking so, I left it to him to do the important stuff.

I can't wait to get my own house and have me a Man Size Reloading Room. I rent right now and don't want to waste money on something that I have to move.
Seeing all you guy's rooms and reloading stuff has gave me some GOOD ideas. PLEASE keep on posting those great pictures and ideas.

This works for me. The one innovation that I'm proud of is the circular cutting board. I can mount several pieces of equipment and then rotate it to my work space as needed.

The powder, primers and loaded ammo is in the cabinet on the right, under lock and key. There's two other chest of drawers where the unloaded empties, holsters, etc are kept. The radios on the left are the remnants of my ham station that I used to play with, but I haven't put up an antenna at this house yet. I have a trap vertical that needs a mast. It's all tubes and "condensers" and I call it Kon Tiki because it drifts all over the place. Lots of fun on CW! Opposite this bench is another with more general tools and electronics on it for my other hobbies, including a gunsmithing vise, gouges, chisels, files and such for making stocks. I plan to make another Kentucky flint rifle from a Track of the Wolf kit this coming winter.

Here is my setup, it is in a spare bedroom. I also have a Cabelas safe in the same room. I keep all of my shooting, reloading and hunting gear in the closet of that room.

This is what my new reload room looked like when I first got started. I made the bench and it is very heavy and doesn't move when I am busy loading.

That is a fantastic bench!!! Wow. How long has it taken you to acquire all that stuff?

Antihero, looking out your window, I didn't think that reloading would be permitted in jail . Just kidding, nice clean set-up.

My little reloading space

Ok here is mine, I have the room to push out so I am a little lucky. This is in one of my out building and the pistol range is just old side the door to the building. The rife range is in the second floor. I have a side door that opens and the hill side slops up so that 200 yards is straight on.

I hope you enjoy my little reloading room.

Newbie Beginning Bench

Here's my new home built bench. I have added flourescent lights beneath the bottom shelf and a power strip to the back wall.

As you can see, I have not received my Lee Turret, etc. yet. Also, still waiting for primers. Then we'll get busy on the .38SPL and 9mm reloads.

All suggestions welcome (like best mounting of press, etc.)

Jeff

No, no, no - not going to reload in the bedroom.

Our house was flooded two weeks ago as I had begun the bench. Being all of the flooring and walls and woodwork are being re-done, I thought I'd finish it on the bare plywood flooring inside (which are awaiting new hardwood), rather than outside in the 105 degree heat.

It will soon be moved to my "man den" spare room.

Thanks,

Jeff+

Here is a look at mine after twenty five years of use. And you've shamed into picking a little. Thanks for the photos. Jim

I'm jealous of most of these setups, since I have nothing right now. I'm getting a lot of great ideas for setting up my reloading room....thanks for all the photos.
