Remington Serial # website?

I just bought a Remington 1100 at a gun show and am curious to look up its year of manufacture. Can anyone point me to a website where I can find this? For what it's worth, SN is 544***V.

Thanks much for any help.

Ok, did a bit of surfing and found a site that talks about the month and year date code stamps on the left side of the barrel near the receiver, but am having trouble deciphering what I found. Codes are: A E R 4 Not sure if the "A" is actually a final inspector's mark, so the "E" and the "R" would be the month and year codes, or what.

Still stumped...
