remington model 760 30-06 pump

what would cause the bolt to open after each shot even with forward pressure on the slide ? is this the sign of a worn part, and if so which one ?

First be sure the rifle is not loaded.

When you pump the action and try to pump again without DRY fireing does the slide lock closed properly?
You say the bolt is opening upon fireing. Does the pump handle stay forward and the bolt unlocks and opens up?
Check these items first then take it from there.
