How much for a Ruger mini thirty?

How much is a Ruger Mini Thirty (7.62x39) worth, used? Its a semi-auto with one 5 round mag. It has a carrying strap but no case. Below is a pic of it, but its not the one that I was gonna get. Thanks for any help.

Pat answer is 3-400 dollars, but as with all things,

It depends. go to one of the on line gun auctions, sales places like gunsamerica and look up mini-30 and see.

Depends on whether it's been "lightly used" or "used and abused." If lightly used, I'd agree with Blume357: between $300 - $400 U.S.

yep $300.00 to $400.00. but you can probably find a nice Browning BAR in .308 for $400.00 to $500.00.as time goes by I become less and less enchanted by the 7.62x39 round .

How much for a Ruger Mini Thirty?

I have one and rarely shoot it. I bought it new about ten years ago and paid over $450. for it. I was not happy with the accuracy of the 7.62X39 round and the Mini Thirty. I would buy a SKS and keep the change if it was a truck gun. If you buy one get the thirty round Themo-Mold Magazine. They are relatively cheap. Every one said the ammo was cheap but with the war in Iraq and China sucking up the mettalic resources nothing is cheap. I keep reading articles on the new Mini 14's from Rugar. If they wanted to make a lot of money I would like to have one in 6.8 SPC. for the accuracy. I had read a story about a Forest Ranger who hunted wild boar in Hawaii with the 7.63X39 in the Rugar Mini Thirty in the National forests. He swore by it plus he had many pig roasts.

One ''hint" about a ruger mini-30 ranch

first thing you do is take the rear flip up sight apart and put it back together with lock tight on the screws. First time I took mine out in the woods, when I got ready to shoot it, the rear sight was gone. does not make for a good day.
