You did not post why the revolver went back for repairs or the circumstances of the situation. There may be something you overlooked or didn't do as we have no info to go on. Maybe there was nothing to do except send it to the factory. My skepticism of any real problem existing is due to lack of info. If I am wrong then correct me please. May be others here can help. Taurus 650 and other revolvers like it are popular around here with us older folk.Do not see many get returned or bad examples. Not a mechanic for guns but others are. Sorry to here about the problem.

the trigger locks up ( will not move at all) the cylinder will spin free when this happens tried Remington, magtec,American eagle, and winchester ammo and it happens with all of them

Problem....Taurus? Your kidding.
Check previous posts. We have an entire flock of happy and proud Taurus revolver shooters. Ask them. TFL ran a pole asking about Taurus qulaity...to my amazement it came out mostly posetive.
My recommendation is to get it back from the factory one last time, sell it to someone you don't know or care about or thinks Taurus is worth it; and replace it with a pre lock S&W, Colt or Ruger. |
