9mm Largo
I've seen attempts posted for this cartridge with little response, since the guns so chambered are not often seen anymore. Has anyone had experience loading this round? Dies for this thing have to be custom made at great expense. Question is, can 9mm Luger dies work? The dimensions are same except for length, so shouldn't the relationship be the same as .38/357 Mag? I got this piece on the cheap (Star Modelo Super) and it's a nice shooter, so thought I'd make the attempt to reload for it.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks |

I've been using 9mm Parabellum dies (Lee) to load for my Astra 400 for years. Works fine.

I ordered a 9x23 Hornady 3 die set from www.lockstock.com yesterday. Ordered some Starline Largo cases from Midway along with some 124 gr Rainier bullets. Maybe this will be a start getting the old Star lit up again.
Thanks again, guys. |
