Look at this exploded view...

Ok, here is a link to an exploded view of an SKS, but it shows the recoil spring guides facing the wrong way into the bolt... Right?

link doesn't work for me, but the "coiled" end of the spring goes into the bolt carrier.

Yeah,

Yeah, I know how the spring goes in. But the drawing shows the large spring guide facing the wrong way! I quess the site got bombarded when I posted the link, It says it has exceeded it's data limit....

The large hollow guide goes toward the back. If you put the spring and guide assembly in backward, the spring will kink and can cause malfunctions.

Yes, the drawing is wrong.

It's a real clear picture for me, someone must be able see it... I quess I could copy it and try and fit it in this thread, but hey ,, my computer is almost three years old.....

The Siminov site has really helped me with some other SKS related info, and I know people here have directed others to this site, I just want to make sure others are aware of this error. I'm going to try and contact the guy who runs the site and let him know so he can take care of it.
