CCW course help!

Hi everybody.
I am looking to obtain my CCW license, and here in good old Missourah, you can't get one till the ripe old age of twenty-three. I am 22, so I am looking at a Florida permit. Florida seems a little lax in the education department...I looked around my area (Columbia) and can't seem to find a class that fits in my time schedule (I work nights and weekends...NOBODY offers a class not on these times!). I am wondering if anyone knows where I could go to get an off-peak hours class without coughing up a ton of money (I'm po', in college.)
Additionally, I have taken the Remington Guide to Shooting and Hunting safety. It's an online course, and seems to me to be totally useless for CCW. However, they state an applicant must display proof of "...Completion of any firearms safety or training course or class available to the general public offered by a law enforcement, junior college, college, or private or public institution or organization or firearms training school, utilizing instructors certified by the National Rifle Association, Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, or the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services;..."
It seems to me that assuming that an NRA instructor helped write the Remington class, (which I am sure of, isn't that where the Commandments are from?) it ought to fulfill the requirements. Open to any interpretation.
Additionally, if any of you are certified NRA instructors and would be willing to give either an online or in person class, I'd love to take it. I'd prefer not to half-bake the class requirements, but if I can't get into one, I am not going to walk around weaponless if I legally do not have to. Any support is appreciated.

Thank you,
Liam

Your problem is going to be with the word "assuming". Contact Remington and find out exactly how they developed the course.

I just reread...looks like the class needs to prove handgun proficiency on the presence of an instructor. Anyone know of anybody near me who could help? The only person who looks ok is Tim Oliver @ learntocarry.com. Still waiting to hear back from him.
