Hello,
I have a thousand each of 45 acp and 44 Rem mag brass cases that are head stamped "S&W" (i.e., "S&W 45 ACP", etc.). I bought these when I was in the service back in the mid 80's from Gil Hebard mail order.

Does anybody know if Rem/Fed/Win made a run of brass for S&W? I'm just wondering if it's fairly reliable brass. I've shot the 45 acp and it shoots fine, looks fine, etc. Just curious before I started working up max loads in the .44 cases.

Thanks,
Todd

When S&W started out selling ammo, the we're in business w/Fiocchi. In fact, their ammo in the beginning was labeled S&W/Fiocchi.

Your brass is most likely that.
