Does anybody know a source for gas checked hard cast bullets for a .45-70? I want to handload cast bullets, but I don't like to scrub lead out of bores and won't reload enough to justify casting my own.

Thanks

When ordering cast bullets it pays to watch the shipping distance, read $$$$.

What state or area of the country are you in?

Central Texas. I don't really plan on reloading in any great quantity. I just want to improve the ballistics a little over what
Remington/Winchester/Federal offer (a "light" level 2 load), and I like lead bullets for these big old rounds. The ammo will used primarily for whitetails, the occassional hog, and feral dogs/coyotes when need arises.
