What is a fair price for 1000 rounds of new 45 brass? How about 1000 rounds of claimed once fired 45 brass? Thanks.

Regards,
Frank

You guys buy brass In 15 years of reloading I have never paid for any brass. I got all my brass (over 20,000 in 45ACP) by picking up at several rock pits where people shoot on weekends. I do have this funny posture due to bent back and eyes looking down

I love my .45 but hate picking up brass, and losing it! Even at the indoor range, I end up losing some because it flies out in front of the lanes and you can't go get it there! (I try to make up for it by picking up any 45 brass I see that is unclaimed at the range, though.) Out in the desert, I stil seem to lose a few every time I go out. I buy used brass from Midway or at a gunshow. Since I'm not shooting competition and I don't load anywhere near max, I don't worry about mixing brass. If I were to worry too much about it, I wouldn't shoot as much!
