Sears Mod 53 (Win Mod 70)

I bought this Sears Model 53 # 185488; 30-06; blond stock; today for $250. I think it's a Winchester 70. I understand that Winchester made two versions of this rifle; one with a modified bolt and one identical to the Model 70. This one appears to be identical and is like new. Does anyone know anything about this rifle? Thanks!

Sears Model 53 is or according to the cross ref. I have is a Winchester 70
