like the subjest line says, what else have you used your reloading press for, other than loading ammo? rockchucker jr's make good vises for shotgun mag tube removal, of cours with approraite padding made out of old gun wipe down rags and plywood. your turn.

Crushing cases that either have a split neck or for some other reason fail reloading inspection.
Simply lay it sideways on the ram and with no die in the press, raise the ram, and totally destroy the case.
It keeps some idiot such as I from trying to reload it.

I have chamferred a case mouth until it was sharp on the inside edge. I then put a board under the press die hole. When I raise the case with a 28 gauge over powder wad, the wad is cookie cut into the size of the case mouth. I bell the mouth to the size I want.

If I shoot a .457 lead ball from a 45/70 case, one layer of wad is enough to gas seal. If I want to shoot bird shot from a 45/70, 3 layers under the shot and one over it with a crimp to hold in the top wad.
