Sorry for the long title.

Anyway, I want to try out the Winchester 64gr. PP in my AR. I ordered only a 100 bullets to try them out, and see how me and my baby like them.

I will be using Reminton once fired cases, H335 powder, Federal 205 primers, and obviously the Winchester Power Point bullets.

I can't find a listed load using all of these components. Of course, I will be reducing by about 7%-8%.

Some other info:
I have a NATO spec. chamber (5.56x45mm) and a chrome lined bore and chamber.

Thanks for any and all help!

Hey BigPig - I don't have an AR yet, but I've found a tremendous difference (even groups of 5 same hole) at 50 yards with my mini-14 using 55gr jacketed non-boattail IMR 4198 19gr. I had never been able to get such small groups using H-335. I like all Hodgen products and I especially like that Hodgen supports the shooting sports at the grass roots level. Maybe if I had continued working with the H335 I could have achieved similar results but for now, it's the IMR. Good luck.

Try a middle of the road load with the same bullet weight and as many of the other factors the same as you can find, then back off about 10%, and work up slowly till you are satisfied.

There is, of course, the possibility that the powder you are trying to use, and your rifle, are not "happy" with each other, but that is another matter entirely.
