Stevens Model 311 H double
Does anyone know how to take the forearm off of this shotgun??? I removed the forearm screw but the forearm is still stuck. I didin't want to try to pry on it because I thought it may be still attached somehow. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Wes

should just pull off.
put the screw back in,it just holds the latch mecanism together, the pull out on the forearm from the top..meaning the barrel end. Then hold onto the barrles while operating the opening latch. The barrels will open as normal and then liff off of the reciever.
OH,and welcome to the board. !! |

That's it, just pull it away from the barrels at the end away from the receiver. And be careful when you put it back on. It bites if you get your fingers in the way!

Thanks for the info fellas. I really needed it. I am always careful when working on a firearm because I have torn some things up in the past.
Thanks again, Wes |
