I just got off the phone from midway customer support and wanted to let you all know how good service they have.

Here is the situation. I ordered about 4000 rnds of bullets in 9mm, 10mm and 45 in 1000 lot boxes and when I came home I had bullets all over my sidewalk and porch. UPS had mangled the box (very badly) and I had bullets everywhere. I dug out the invoice and called midway. After about a 10minute wait on the phone they said no problems they will ship me a replacement for the bullets that were in the box that way busted. This was two full boxes of 180 grn 10mm JHP's. What great service, they had no questions other then what was the ups tracking number.

No if I could only figure out how to pick up all of the bullets that are in my yard????? By the way I dumped the rest of the bullets into a 500 bullet box, and out of the 2000 I ordered only 300 or so actually made it in the box to my house.

Think of Midway next time.

Anyone else had trouble like this?

I'm not surprised by Midway's service. They've always been first rate.

I had a carbon copy of your experience with a shipment of 2000 bullets from Oregon Trail Bullet Co. (Laser-Cast). I gave them a call and they sent a whole box of replacements for the missing bullets. No problems, no questions. I was picturing a trail of .44 Mag bullets all the way from Oregon to VA. I think UPS really has to work at busting the boxes OTB uses, they are very thick and double boxed.

I've shipped and received a lot of electronic equipment. I used to be a big fan of UPS, but almost never use them anymore. FEDEX has far superior service. Of course it cost more, but if you want it delivered in one piece....

I don't know if FEDEX will ship bullets, etc.

Got to agree on Midways service. They always handle my order great. I had the worst time last month getting 9mm bullets, all out of stock. But the lady on the phone helped me find suitable in stock and even saved me some bucks on them.

Also agree about ups they bite. It seems like they are trying to see just how bad they can treat a package without getting sued. I get busted up stuff from those jerks all the time at work. And on top of that our delivery driver is the rudest person on the face of the earth. I spit on UPS.

I too have awesome service from Midway. About the only thing I could find fault with em is the fact that they always seem to be out of stock on some items...I enjoy the fact that when i tell my wife,"aww cmon babe its only 32.50" I dont have to go back and tell her "I forgot about shipping". I usually get my orders in 2-3 days too.

I just recieved 1k of 45 bullets from Midway shipped UPS, the driver was nice and offered to set them inside the door because of the heavy box. When I open the box I find that the inside box was torn open,( outside box taped and not torn) and when I open that box I find the heavy plastic sack the bullets are in appears to have been torn,
so I count the bullets and find they are all there, but it would appear that someone at UPS was finger-poken .
